Project Overview
Background
In December 2017, Weintraub Projects bought 9 Vine Street. The property is a small, dilapidated home on 1/4 acre in Central Nyack, New York. The house has a kitchen, living/dining room and full bathroom on its first floor, two bedrooms and a half bathroom on its second floor, and a basement with a bedroom, half bathroom and spare room. There is also a detached garage that is adequate for storage, but unsafe for car parking.
The intention is to renovate the property in two stages. In the first phase, which will happen during first quarter 2018, the basement will be rebuilt to include a bedroom, full bathroom and living space with its own separate entrance, and the second floor will be rebuilt to include two modernized bedrooms and a new full bathroom. The kitchen and the bathroom on the first floor will be made functional; they will be fully renovated during the second phase of the construction, which will likely occur during early 2019.
